 BAND
Sixth-Eighth Grade Band
Current enrollment is 90 students.
Band meets four times a week for 40 minute sessions each.
Each student also has a 30 minute sectional with like instruments.

PERFORM AT:

Solo and Ensemble Contest (District & State)
Organizational Contest (District & State)
Six-Eight Parades, Graduation
Christmas and Spring Concerts
IMEA Festival & Clinton County Festival
Three Girls & Three Boys Basketball Games
Skating Party, Bowling Party, Car Wash, Fundraisers, Etc.

Fifth Grade Band
Sign up is at the beginning of Fifth Grade. 
Music teacher auditions all students and makes recommendations
based on their tryout as to the best instrument for which they are suited.
Look for information to be sent home with your Fifth Grader
at the beginning of the school year. 
Full Fifth Grade Band meetstwo times a week for 40 minutes sessions each.
Each student also has one additional 30 minute lesson each week.

Christmas & Spring Concerts & Graduation


CHORUS:

Open to all Fifth-Eighth Grade Students.  No tryouts necessary!
Chorus meets once a week during mini-course for a 40 minute session.

Christmas & Spring Concerts


 

GENERAL MUSIC:

All students in Grades K-4 have music class once a week for a 30 minute session.
  Students are taught fundamental music concepts through the use of
singing, instruments, and movement.

K-2    -    Christmas Concert
3-4     -    Spring Concert

Brighten A Child's Life January-26-2012
During the months of February and March Big Brothers Big Sisters is planning a community wide awareness campaign in Clinton County called "Brighten A Child's Life". The campaign will recognize all the schools that participate in Clinton County, as well as, raise awareness and funds for the program.  There are thirteen Schools in Clinton County including District 12  that will display strands of purple lights, each light bulb representing a child in the Clinton County prog
